Woollahra House Interior Design

Woollahra, Sydney, Australia

Interior design project for a contemporary private residence located in Woollahra, one of Sydney’s most established residential neighborhoods. The proposal focuses on creating a refined, warm, and highly livable interior, where architecture, materiality, natural light, and landscape are carefully integrated.

The design is defined by a restrained palette of natural timber, marble, glass, soft neutral tones, and black architectural accents. Large sliding openings connect the living areas with outdoor terraces, gardens, and the pool, reinforcing a seamless relationship between interior and exterior spaces.

Inside, the project combines open-plan living areas, custom joinery, elegant stone surfaces, warm timber walls, and carefully selected furniture to create a calm and sophisticated atmosphere. The use of skylights, full-height glazing, and internal visual connections enhances the sense of openness, light, and spatial continuity throughout the house.

The result is a contemporary interior that balances comfort, simplicity, and material richness, offering a quiet and elegant residential experience suited to the character of Woollahra.
