Vietnamese-German University Campus

Binh Duong Province, Vietnam

Large-scale educational campus located in Binh Duong Province, approximately 50 km from Ho Chi Minh City. The Vietnamese-German University Campus was developed on a 50.5-hectare site, with approximately 327,000 m² of built area, creating a new academic, residential, and research environment.

The master plan proposes a compact and active “academic town,” organized through a clear urban structure that integrates teaching facilities, student housing, research buildings, common areas, pedestrian circulation, and landscape design. The project was conceived to support university life, encourage interaction between students and faculty, and create a contemporary educational setting connected to Vietnam’s tropical landscape.

The proposal combines urban planning, architecture, landscape, and infrastructure, working across different scales — from the overall campus organization to the definition of public spaces, courtyards, green areas, circulation routes, and the relationship between academic and residential programs.

My participation was part of a collaborative team project with international architecture, urban design, and landscape studios, contributing to the urban design development and conceptual coordination of the master plan.
